Setting up a booth at Echelon Philippines is rarely just about the booth itself. For many startups, it’s about stepping onto a much bigger stage!

At Echelon Philippines 2025, three fantastic founders arrived with different goals in mind: getting in front of investors, boosting brand visibility, and expanding regionally. But what they actually walked away with was so much richer; we're talking deep partnerships, market validation, fresh momentum, and crystal-clear direction on what to do next.

Here’s a look at what exhibiting really meant for them.

Xeleqt AI: Turning Visibility into Real Collaboration

For Lance Brandon Pacio of Xeleqt AI, setting up shop was both a chance to show off their tech and a major signal of their growth. The team had actually participated in Echelon Philippines before, but this time, they returned not just to pitch, but as a full-fledged exhibitor! They had a larger booth ready to demonstrate their hardware and AI capabilities directly to customers and investors.

The impact? Practically immediate. Investor conversations kicked off right at the booth and are actually still going on today. But interestingly, one of the most meaningful wins happened completely by chance at the welcome dinner.

A Thai startup named Viabus happened to grab a seat at their table. Fast forward to the next day, and Xeleqt AI was bringing them into a meeting with a major bus company! That little serendipitous moment quickly blossomed into a real collaboration.

Beyond making new partners, Echelon Philippines served as a fantastic internal milestone for the whole team. "I think for us, Echelon is a good milestone every year to see our startup improve and evolve."

Just preparing for the event gave the team a wonderful rallying point. And once they were there, the live feedback from attendees helped them completely rethink how to productize their early AI agent. It was so much more than just exposure, it was real-time market validation.

As Lance perfectly puts it: "I would say it's difficult to know what's really out there if you don't get out there and put yourself, you know, on the spot at a big event like Echelon."

OneCFO: From Visibility to Legitimacy

For Jay Olos and Maric De Castro over at OneCFO, the goal was super clear: they wanted to reinforce their strong position within the startup ecosystem and expand their reach.

Having just come from Echelon Singapore, they immediately felt a distinct, welcoming vibe at the Philippine edition. "So what we saw here is really more, I guess it's more personal or there's more warmth, I guess, in that sense," Maric shared.

That signature warmth translated into highly meaningful engagement, bringing in potential clients, great investor conversations, and exciting partnership opportunities. But their biggest win was definitely a boost in brand authority. "Kasi I guess in terms of impact, malaki yung impact ng Echelon Philippines for brand visibility and brand awareness. Especially [in] the startup community,” Jay explained.

With their logo proudly displayed as a sponsor and Jay sharing his insights on stage, they noticed a truly measurable shift. "So, we got an increase in terms of following," Jay said. "And we saw, you know, it also somehow put some legitimacy on our brand, being the go-to fractional CFO for startups and SMBs in the Philippines."

The exposure even led to invitations beyond the event itself, like being tapped by GoNegosyo to speak to their community. For the OneCFO team, exhibiting wasn’t just about snagging immediate conversions, it was all about strengthening their long-term positioning.

Sourcy: Expanding Across Southeast Asia

For Karl Chan of Sourcy, the big opportunity was all about regional growth. "We decided to exhibit at Echelon Philippines because it is one of the most influential startup and innovation events in Southeast Asia, bringing together a strong mix of founders, corporates, and investors."

They came in with direct goals: finding leads and building partnerships. What they gained was a wonderfully strengthened regional pipeline! "Overall, Echelon helped strengthen our pipeline and expand our regional network in a tangible way."

The discussions that started at their booth quickly progressed into follow-up meetings, pilot discussions, and ongoing dialogues with investors. And the exposure definitely didn’t stop when the event packed up, their LinkedIn connections ticked upward, inbound inquiries started rolling in, and brand recall noticeably improved in their later conversations.

Just as important was all the learning they did. "Hearing real market feedback in a short period of time allowed us to sharpen our messaging and rethink how we position our solutions."

For Sourcy, exhibiting became this fast-track validation loop, helping them fine-tune their go-to-market strategy while successfully expanding their footprint in Southeast Asia.

The Big Takeaway

Different founders, completely different outcomes. We saw partnerships sparked over a simple dinner, authority reinforced up on stage, and regional networks expanded in just two days.

For startups that are ready to put themselves in the room, and on the spot, exhibiting at Echelon Philippines can easily become so much more than a marketing play. It can truly become a milestone.

So, for everyone looking ahead to Echelon Philippines 2026, the real question might not just be “Should we exhibit?” It might actually be: What could completely change for us if we do?
